difference between body butter and body lotion

Whats the difference between these??

Can someone PLEASE tell me what's the difference between body lotion, body butter and body cream at Bath and body works. Is it one thats stronger than the other or texture, what is it with these things????To me they all seem the same.

Body butter is the strongest kind, followed by body cream then body lotion. The texture is normally the same, just that the stronger one is thicker (sometimes).
