what are the main sources of fat for human body ?
What quantity of fat is present in cooking oils, butter, sugar, beef, poultry, fish, egg yolk, meat, nuts, fruits, vegetables, milk, bread, rice, flour? And what is our body's average daily requirement of fat?
We are designed to eat lots of fat, but the right kinds of fats. Many of the problems we are having today is a result of both not eating enough fats and eating the wrong kinds of fats. Humans make lots of hydrochloric acid in their stomachs for digestion of proteins, primarily and to sanitize the food we eat. Plant eaters, like cows, do NOT make hydrochloric acid in their stomachs, but have a small gland that produces a small amount of HCL just before the food enters their intestines to sanitize.
Plant eaters digest cellulose and plant foods far better than humans, but humans have digestive enzymes made in their pancreas that help us to digest plant foods as well, so we are omnivores and can eat both animal and plants. The problem is that our bodies require lots of fat and most plants do not contain lots of fat.
The correct amount of carbohydrates a person should eat each day is about 75 grams maximum. We are designed to get most of our calories from fats. Animal fats from animals that eat grass, their natural diet, create incredibly good fats for us. Animals that eat grains are unhealthy, produce bad fats and are NOT good for us. The primary reason is that grains are loaded with sugar and this causes them to produce high inflammatory fatty acids that cause us to be sick.
Fats should be consumed in the following amounts: 60% monounsaturated (olive oil); 30% saturated (real RAW butter made from grass fed cows, coconut oil, palm oil); and 10% polyunsaturated fats (from nuts and seeds).
AVOID ALL Soybean, Canola, Cottonseed, Corn oils. These are very unstable polyunsaturated fats that damage the body greatly. 93% soybeans and 85% corn are now genetically modified and causing all kinds of allergies and problems in humans in the U.S. Look at labels of all canned, packaged, boxed foods and salad dressings. DON'T eat these oils! ! ! Also avoid fried foods, trans fats, ALL margarine's (no matter how good the marketing people say it is) hydrogenated ANYTHING. It's all bad.
Fats give you sustained energy, make food taste better, and help you make good hormones and antibodies. LOW FAT diets are damaging to the body and BAD ADVICE.
