what should i feed a wild mother mouse of 4 babies that have full bodies of hair?
my husband and i were helping clean a home and he found this nest with 4 babies. they look like they will open their eyes in a few days. i know the mother likes peanut butter, but i don't know what else to feed her so she can feed her babies and not eat them. actually, this rodent has a long snout and buldgy eyes. idk if its a rat or a mouse.

Laboratory chow or dry dog food will work. Mice and rats are omnivorous.
