hand cream shea butter
natural hand cream/lotion recipe with glycerine?
I want to make hand lotion with vegetable oil glycerine. I looked all over the internet but I didn't really find one that was simple.
Most of the recipes require a lot of ingredients (oils etc.) Does anyone have something simple like:
shea butter
essential oil
glycerine
water
etc. etc.
I don't care for coconut oil, and palm oils....just simple stuff. Beeswax can be included, but hopefully will not make it too oily.

I doubt you will find a cream or lotion recipe that is simple. Once you start mixing water soluble (water, glycerine etc) substances with oil soluble (shea butter, vegetable oils, essential oils) you won't produce a cream or lotion without introducing an emulsifier. You will also have to think about how you want to preserve your mixture from bacterial deterioration. The process is not straight forward and will take time, the right ingredients and the right recipe to perfect.
The easiest and simplest way to use your glycerin is to mix it with water and use that mixture on its own. It will be quite thin and not like a cream but feels great on the skin, If you want to follow up with something more nourishing, just use your shea butter as it is, or melt your shea butter (very gently!) and mix in some essential oils to (just a very few drops).
Glycerin is a humectant which means it attracts water to the skin. Your skin needs both water and oil, so following with a vegetable oil or butter will feed your skin much better than just the glycerin on its own. Also don't apply the glycerin to your skin on its own as without added water it will just draw water from your skin, making it dryer - not what you want!
