Can Lavender Oil keep fleas away?

Can baby lavendar oil keep flea away?
I have fleas. I have bombed, cleaned my place from top to bottom and clean and washed all of my dogs bedding. I also washed my dog and use front line on her. they are still around but not as bad as before but they seem to be attracted to me for some reason. I have stop using lotions, body sprays, etc... the only thing i use is a shea butter body wash. I have heard that Lavender keeps alot of insects away (fleas & mosquitoes).

Indeed, but you'll need the real stuff, pure therapuetic grade. Johnson & Johnson won't cut it. But if you get the real stuff, mix a few drops with almond or olive oil and rub your dogs with it. You can also try citronella, but lavender is stronger with the dogs' fur. You should be able to use citronella and patchouelli.
