moisturizing body wash

What's the absolute BEST moisturizing body wash? My skin is the dryest this side of the desert!!!?
I have very dry skin, especially during the winter months (who doesn't???). When I take a shower it only takes about a half an hour for my skin to really start drying to the point where it's itchy, uncomfortable, and very ashy. I've tried mixing my body wash with lotion, baby oil, you name it,but to no avail. In order to get my skin to feel and act half decent I have top to put lotion on right when I get out, 15 minutes after that, and then 15 minutes after that...at that point my skin MAY retain some moisture but even then it sometimes dries out.
I saw a dermatologist and they said I simply had really dry skin and that was it. No skin problems or skin conditions. So can somebody tell me what the best moisturizing body wash is out there....PLEASE???????
If you are suffering from dry skin on your whole body, the best thing you can do is also try and treat it accordingly. To begin with, you should try to change your diet to inculcate a certain amount of grease in it. This will ensure that your skin does not suffer from a lack of grease.

You should also try to make it a daily routine of applying moisturizing cream or lotion to your entire body each day after a bath. This will show you a visible difference. And with your kind of dry skin, you can cease to worry about whether it will generate sweat. In all likelihood, all of the oiliness of the cream will be totally absorbed. For a while at least, you should try to follow this regimen twice a day. While this may take up a few extra minutes of your time every day, it will be completely worth it, because it will ensure that you seal in moisture into your skin and it does not escape.

* Don’t use tap water fro cleansing your skin. The deposits of the tap water are too drying on the skin.
* Avoid using hot water to clean your face, instead use mineral water.This will help in keeping your skin moist and smooth.
* Do regular massage on your skin using essential herbal oils such as olive oil, almond oil and mustard oil. Use a good moisturizing face wash to clean your face.Washing dry skin with soap can trap away the remaining moisture and natural oil present in your skin.
* Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. This helps in restoring the lost moisture and provides smoothness and texture to your skin.
* After every bath ensure to apply baby oil on your face and hands.
* Massage your face and arms with a good moisturizing cream every night before going to bed.
* Avoid using highly alkaline soaps and detergents because these contain drying ingredients.
* Aloe vera gel or extract is a good remedy for dry skin. This herb is soothing and moisturizing to the skin. It also has the power to remove dead cells present in the skin and open all the skin pores, providing lubrication to your dry skin.
* Calendula and comfrey are used to soften skin when dryness damages your skin. These herbs can be used in sauna or herbal waters.
* Lavender oil and oat extract are also beneficial for dry skin.
