I got something after my pimple was gone?

About a year ago, i got this big pimple. it took a while to go away but after it went away i had this bump. it start bugging me now since my school just started. what is it? a scar or what? I had that bump ever since my pimple went down. It been about a year. how can i get rid of it.

If it is a scar can i use this to get rid of it

I am an Esthetician and when I see bumps in skin it is a result of two things generally speaking. If the bump is white, it looks like a little pearl is under the skin; that is milia. It is a build-up of sebum because the pore is clogged. This should be extracted carefully and preferably by a professional, but not necessarily a dermatologist. Secondly, if the bump is under the skin and does not cause discoloration but just a raised area it is most likely as a result of squeezing a pimple. When you squeeze a pimple it can either exit out the top, that is when you see the white pus and blood, or it can break the side wall of the pore and move horizontally. When it moves sideways it breaks into another pore and the body sends white blood cells to the area to deal with the infection and it ends up encircling the break and causes scar tissue to form. That will need to be removed by a dermatologist. Never never never squeeze a pimple!!!!.
